Sales Account Executive

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales activity goals related to demo pitches, proposals, and signed contracts

  • Meet or exceed sales revenue targets via prospecting, pipeline funnel management, proposal development, and meeting management

  • Quickly gain comprehensive expertise in the Giving Docs product and value proposition

  • Use tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn, and other platforms to efficiently and rapidly generate prospect lists and grow the net new sales pipeline

  • Conduct prospect research and compile key insights to inform sales pipeline

  • Identify, contact, and schedule meetings with qualified sales prospects

  • Manage data quality, reports and dashboards, workflows, proposal and pitch development, email follow up, and other tasks related to a successful sales operation

  • Partner successfully with internal team and external partners to identify and close new business opportunities

  • Balance the needs of the business, prospective customers, current customers, and the internal team in all situations

 

About You

  • Experience with planned giving, either within a non-profit development department or with  a vendor serving the planned giving community

  • Experience in B2B technology sales preferred 

  • Documented track record of building and managing a pipeline of prospective donors and/or clients that increases number of proposals and creates net new opportunities within a growing organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable interacting with sales leads

  • Exceptional attention to detail; loves a to-do list and managing tasks

  • Tech savvy, comfortable working in databases, and familiarity with CRM and data tools

  • Skilled in using G Suite to coordinate team projects, including spreadsheets, documents, and presentations

  • Quick learner, self-starter, creative, resourceful, and ambitious

  • High degree of empathy, with a demonstrated ability to listen carefully to and engage meaningfully with a wide variety of stakeholders

  • Desire to not merely meet customer expectations, but seek opportunities to delight

  • Excellent at working within teams to achieve ambitious goals

  • Comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced start-up environment

  • High bar for quality, rigor, and integrity in your own work, as well as your colleagues’

  • Smarts, tenacity, fortitude, and drive to both uncover creative solutions to existing projects, and to help bring projects to fruition

  • Ability to work remotely regardless of location, with primary working hours between 9am-5pm Eastern Standard Time M-F

 

Salary and Benefits

  • Base salary of $80,000 with on-target earnings of up to $100,000, based on achieving revenue goals.

About the Role
Giving Docs is seeking a full-time Client Success Manager to play a leading role in our relationships with nonprofit clients, as well as with our platform users. The Client Success Manager will lead all stages of partnership and customer management, from onboarding to marketing support to product management to long-term engagement. This role will report directly to the Head of Success.


Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships, with responsibility for ensuring that clients are delighted with successful, innovative, measurably impactful marketing campaigns

  • Oversee all aspects of marketing campaign development, troubleshooting challenges and uncovering opportunities with a creative, hands-on approach

  • Be an in-house expert on the Giving Docs product and value proposition.

  • Be or become an expert in nonprofit fundraising strategies, with a focus on planned giving

  • Serve as a lead point of contact interfacing between internal and external teams, prioritizing, identifying and addressing client and customer needs in a timely manner

  • Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to provide insight into technical needs of clients, uncovering potential challenges and opportunities for our product roadmap based on client feedback

  • Seek fresh ways to optimize the customer success operation across all touchpoints, from onboarding to campaign support to product management to increased and sustained long-term engagement

  • Assist in quality assurance on product feature rollouts as appropriate, and effectively communicate bugs and UX design and functionality issues to Product and Engineering teams

  • Develop and implement engagement strategies for customers on the Giving Docs platform, in partnership with internal stakeholders and external partners

  • Manage, troubleshoot and resolve customer service requests on the Giving Docs platform


About You

  • Direct experience with planned giving and nonprofit fundraising

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ideally in the area of individual giving donor marketing

  • 3+ years experience in customer success or donor relations

  • Proven track record of delivering extraordinary client/donor service

  • Proficiency with CRM and project management tools and systems

  • High degree of empathy, with a demonstrated ability to listen carefully to and engage meaningfully with a wide variety of stakeholders

  • Ability, background and temperament to serve as a trusted strategic advisor, offering reliable and relevant expertise

  • Desire to not merely meet customer expectations, but to seek opportunities to delight

  • Demonstrated passion to serve the most impactful nonprofits on the planet

  • Proven ability to work within teams to achieve ambitious goals

  • High energy and enthusiasm for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Comfort with moving quickly in a fast-paced start-up environment

Salary and Benefits

  • Annual starting salary range between $75k- $90k, depending on experience
